Target audience

The courses train business students and professionals preparing to get into a business school or seeking career advancement in fields that require top-notch English-language communication skills in the fields of finance, accounting, and management.

 

Contents and requirements

Professional Financial Communication (PFC, intermediate) and Advanced Professional Financial Communication deal with finance and accounting terminology, language, and exercises. The courses are designed to help you interpret and prepare corporate results, stock exchange statements, and other forward-looking financial reports. The courses focus on the following topics:

✓ Financial Accounting

The intermediate PFC course includes fifteen lessons of up-to-date examples of how top professionals report on various topics, including (but not limited to) acquisitions, group structure, shares / stock, equity and debts finance, preparation of financial statements, consolidation, and impairment of assets.

The three courses build progressively on what has been learned during the previous lesson. They all use up-to-date, real-life examples from financial reports. The intermediate course (Level 1) is more focused on terminology and interpretation of financial information, while the advanced version (Level 2) is more focused on the production of financial information. The PFC w/ Financial Accounting Specialization (Level 2b) focuses on financial accounting (bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, consolidation etc.).

How to purchase the course?

The on-site/webinar versions currently sell for 99-119 € (+VAT) per hour, depending on the level (Intermediate vs Advanced). Some aspects of the courses (e.g., duration, maximum attendance) are negotiable. The on-site price does not include travel expenses.
